new library from server
« on: March 22, 2013, 08:52:21 am »

Hi all –

I posted this under the release notes for the last version but didn't get a response; forgive me if you've already read this.

Library server is claimed to be going now, however my "Add Library" window shows local only.

Am I missing something? It's been like this for me since Media Network was added in .150. I have reset my settings by deleting the folder JohnT instructs to delete, and I am on the newest build.

Thanks –
Micah

Connecting Windows to Mac doesn't work yet, so we have the feature disabled.

Interesting, it seems to work as a DLNA server connecting from one Mac to another.  I'm looking forward to being able to do this remotely from outside of my home network at some point.

Very cool.

doh! This is the primary reason I purchased MC for Mac. To be able to use my work Mac, to connect to my home, library server. Any idea when Mac>PC library sharing will be ready for testing.
