I have Windows 8 PC with Lynx AES16 sound card and Berkeley Alpha DAC.
I use the latest version of the 17th MP
Via ASIO drivers over WASAPI event style drivers, MP does not want to play HDCD files. Instead of music is heard rumble that can fix restoring sound card driver settings to default. However, if played back HDCD file again, you can hear a croak.
The problem does not occur using WASAPI drivers, but it seems to me that the general sound through WASAPI Event Style drivers something better. The problem does not occur or using Foobar2000, but the sound is better MP and I would like to use the MP with WASAPI Event Style settings.
I hope that it will be repaired.
