My situation:
I'm jumping between different playlists, media library and playing now. Whenever I change list, the "default" sorting kicks in. Quite messy to change for instance sorting order in playing now from sequence to Name - track - album - artist everytime

A quick suggestion:
Why not automatically save the last used sorting in every list? Then you don't even have to set sorting in preferences (which just seems to apply to Media library).

I couldn't agree more - i love not having to worry about getting back to the place i started, just press the 4. button on my mouse takes me right home - now if only the sort order was remembered...

Ok, I put the topic to the wish list...the more I use MJ, the more I miss this function...I even implement it at work when I create web forums and stats pages
