MC (18.0.206) will not save the "Allow Multiple Instances to run at one time" upon exit.
So I have to check the combox everytime

Interesting, I can't reproduce this. Any clues as to how yours could be different? What are you running, windows 7?

Yes, I'm using Win7 integral edition N. It happens on different computers.

Perhaps you could go to User Account Control (in the Windows Control Panel) and set to allow "full access" (never notify). Maybe Windows is preventing you from making/saving changes.
