Cross Fade Problem
« on: August 02, 2013, 06:47:04 pm »

Hi all. I've selected an aggressive 16s cross fade in my audio cd burn, but it is not actually burning it that way. When I play the CD the tracks mix in but at the same audio level with no fading. It's very jarring. Any tips for a proper burn??

*EDIT Well I took the CD out to the car and it played it properly(cross-fading). When played on my PC, however, the issue is as described. Probably an output setting?

Did you play the burned CD with MC?

If yes, did you disable all track transition effects in the playback options to correctly resemble a standard stand-alone audio CD player? (I.e. did you set Switch Tracks: Gapless and uncheck Do not play silence (leading and trailing) ?)
