Hello

I'm facing a problem when changing tags on my flac files.
MC18 creates randomly (not always) duplicates

exemple if i change a tag on this file :
01. Guardian - Alanis Morissette.flac

MC 18 may create a duplicate

01. Guardian - Alanis Morissette (1).flac

I'm on Windows 8 64bits.

i didn't have this problem previously when i was on windows 7 (don't know if it is linked)

Is it a bug or is it something not well parametered on my side ?

I don't have an answer for you.  But you will probably be asked to describe what seems to cause the problem.  If you can be as specific as possible, maybe someone can reproduce the issue.

The only thought that comes to mind is that when writing out the file with updated tags, sometimes MC may need to rewrite the entire file (due to the tagging block size increasing), and when writing the new file, the old one isn't getting deleted.
