Changing Start and End Times
« on: August 08, 2013, 08:15:39 pm »

Is it possible to change the start and end times of songs? I used to do it in itunes and Mediamonkey and like being able to get rid of long crowd noises and such on some tracks.

You can use the [Playback Range] field.

I tried it and it isn't changing anything. As far as I can tell I have set everything properly in <m:sec> and set the Use Bookmarking field to "No". I am trying this on my office computer but I have tried sync'ing with the main library and it doesn't help.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you follow all the instructions on the wiki page?

Nevermind I guess. The changes I made on the office computer did not affect the playback on the office computer even after syncing the library and restarting MC but they did work on the HTPC with the main library and that is all that matters.

Thanks again

PS I'm not sure how I ended up posting this in the MC19 thread instead of 18. I'm glad you saw it though.
