jukebox recognizes the removable drive but it requires to point and click on the tree node to recognize that it hase directories and to add an expansion button at the tree node...

I think he means:

By default you don't see the |PLS| (plus) sign next to your handheld device unless you click on it first.
By default it will not expand when you click on the devices icon on the toolbar.
You have to click on it first with the mouse, the |PLS| sign appears and then click again to expand to see subdirectories for that drive

Assuming bennyd has this correct, what he describes is by design so that portables only are initialized when requested rather than everytime MJ starts. This prevents MJ from reporting that a particular device is not present everytime MJ runs.
