I sent your link to a friend of mine who as an audio engineer found this one amusing
If the power supply introduces noise or there is jitter on the square wave this results in a square wave that is not identical to the original
I think you should let the guys at Hydrogen Audio have go at this -- post the link on their forum and they will go ballistic.
