I recently had to load a new operating system on my PC (Win 8 Pro 64). I then down loaded media center (19.0.32) and tried to activate my copy I received email with the restore license. When I double click on it tries to install, then I get the message that "License Key Not Valid for Media Center". So I requested again with same results. I used 3 restores with same results. I can't figure what I am doing wrong.

Please help me resolve this issue.

PS. I just got another license key so there is 4 times in a row. When I click on the new one I get that my license has expired!! I thought it was a forever license.

Do you have a license for MC19? If you did not pay for the upgrade (MC18 to MC19) you need to take care of that. If you do have an MC19 license make sure the file "extension" is not being changed during the download. It should be a ".mjr" extension.

I did not know that going to MC 19 is a for fee update. My bad. I installed MC 18 and it installed correctly.
