I had this problem in MC18 too but I've just tested it in MC19 by doing a completely fresh install on a virgin Windows 7 machine. The "Recent Playing Now's" playlists all disappear each time I shut down MC and restart it.



It seems to work in MC18 for some?

I am using 18.0.206 and the Recent Playing Now is retained when I restart JRM.

I don't think there is option...
cant remember my older version do retain this or not..

Under Options=>General=>Advanced=>Is Clear Playing Now on exit checked -- if so, uncheck it

I have been using Media Center for a while (version 8, maybe). I used to have "Recent Playing Now" and not too long ago (maybe version 16), it vanished.

I do have the Tools/Options/General/Features/Recently Playing Nows checked and Tools/Options/General/Advanced/Clear Playing Now on exit unchecked.

My Playlist shows "Recently Played", but not "Recently Playing Now".

My configuration file may have been corrupted in one of the many updates. Is there a way to fix it? ?
