Hi there, after a while in the wilderness when I've really only been using MC as a UPNP server, I was delighted to see the progress that's been made with handling of video stuff, especially TV series. It's more than enough to get me thinking about ditching WMC as my primary HTPC front end and returning to MC Theatre View.
A bit of playing, some trial and error, and bloody minded perseverance, and I've sussed out how to get data out of TVDB. But I'm having trouble getting the poster/cover art out of TVDB and into MC.
I've got multiple TV shows, with the right naming conventions, folder structures etc. For each series, I've fetched the episode data from TVDB. But when I view the series from Theatre View at series level, I get inconsistent results for the cover/poster art.
So to be precise, I'm using the default Theatre view structures, and I'm looking at Video/Shows and I'm correctly seeing one item per series. Some of the series have the correct poster/cover artwork. Some have incorrect artwork (although TVDB has the correct artwork). And some have no artwork at all, just a generated thumbnail.
So how do I correct the incorrect and missing Series level artwork. Is it held anywhere within MC? Is it pulled from TVDB each time, and if so how is it linked? Is this a known issue that has been fixed at release 19?
