I just tried this and to my surprise it worked... except the up arrow key reduced volume and the down key turned it up. This can't be intentional, can it?

It is like using the the arrows for controls on a flight simulator.  The down arrow is like pulling back the stick which makes the airplane's nose go up.

When you are riding the audio wave and want more volume, pull back on the stick (down arrow).
