I am working with Integer mode not selected(if on i have distortion)
-output msb DAC (core audio)
-dsd on
-when working dsp function shows right input and output for all the files
Input DAC show instable bit working with file. flac at 16bit (variation 15-17 mostly fix to 17 bit) and stable bit working with file flac at 24 bit
-Using file dsd or .iso the input DAC shows right in and out so the input of dac is correct dsd 64 or 128
-Using DSD together with the music there are a very high noises (schhh...)
-With DSD off seems to work properly having input to DAC of 24 bit 356..khz
Maybe updating the log file library work properly?
Let me tell you what I have set and my configuration and maybe we can figure out the difference?
Using a Mac Mini with 16 GB memory connected via USB to MSB Analog DAC. Latest firmware on MSB Analog DAC and Mac OS Mavericks installed. My filed are installed on a NAS so Mac Mini gets those over ethernet.
In MC, Tools->Options->Audio
Audio Device - MSB USB 2.0 Audio Out (Core Audio)
Device settings - Open Device with Exclusive Access and Integer Mode enabled.
Buffering - Software = 100 Milliseconds - Hardware = Hardware Default
Settings
DSP & Output format - Output encoding = None
Bitstreaming = Yes (DSD)
I have Play files from memory enabled (this shouldn't matter)
I am able to playback FLAC, AIFF, DSD files with nary a problem. Using 16/44.1, 24/96, 24/192 AIFF or FLAC files, as well as DSD64 and DSD 128 Files.
How much memory and what type of Mac are you using? Have you tried a different USB cable?
And what HD are you using and how is it connected?
