Identifying the software and version used to rip files
« on: March 08, 2014, 09:17:52 pm »

In earlier versions of iTunes it would show on the Summary window the software (iTunes/MAX/XLD etc) and the version used to rip a file. In the later version of iTunes this feature was eliminated.

In MC is there anyway to retrieve and display what software and version were used to rip/import files?

Look to see what is in the physical tags.  Select a file, and open the Tag Action Window, and click on the first line there to open the tag dump page.
