Author Topic: New keyboard driver and play/pause no longer works with MC19  (Read 849 times)

I searched the forum for this seemingly basic problem.  Lots of solutions out there for complex problems but I can't seem to find where I went wrong.

I use a Logitech K350 multimedia keyboard.  I updated to the latest drivers yesterday.  Now my play/pause, stop, back and forward buttons won't work with MC19--either in focus or globally.  They still work fine with Windows Media Player-focused or globally.  I use MC19 exclusively, so need to get my groove back with the keyboard.

I'm sure I overwrote some setting or did something strange to keep those from working.  Other keys work fine--just the multimedia grouping mentioned.

Any thoughts?

Did you try uninstalling the driver?  The keyboard should work without it.

Kept working on it...

As you suggested, uninstalling the driver led to the play/pause working again.

I installed an old driver for the advanced functions of the keyboard and it worked.  Then Logitech urged me to upgrade.  It now works...

So essentially uninstalling and reinstalling the new driver repaired the flaky problem of play/pause, stop and left/right keys not working.

weird, but solved.

Thanks for the input.
