Hi, I currently run jriver on 2 PCs (1 living room and 1 office) and all my media is stored on a shared NAS. Is there a way to run a shared library between both PCs? I've currently got the living room PC set up to act as a server, the office PC can then access it's library but it doesn't seem a very smart way to do things- it means both PCs need to be switched on at the same time and I can only make changes to the library on the living room PC. Ideally i'd like a set up whereby both PC's share a central (identical) library with either being able to make changes, is this possible? Any guides on how other people have set up multiple PCs and a NAS would be gratefully received.

I've had a search on the forum without success.

Make sure to enable authentication if you want to sync changes from the client.

Thanks for this I've noticed a couple of snags though. First is there a way to copy the server library and use it to replace the main client library? Currently I have to be logged into both PCs to get the same view which is a bit of a pain. Second, I'm having trouble with particles, I auto created 4 particles for a dvd in the client, but only 1 has appeared on the server, the other 3 seem to have disappeared- have I messed up or is it a bug? Finally, I've tried to set up a shared folder on the NAS for all of my season and series covers so both PCs can access the same location. However, every time I log in to JRiver the cover folder goes back to the default location on my boot drive. Again is this a bug, or is there a smarter way to do it?
