Bug with library fields (user field mood and tempo)
« on: September 15, 2014, 07:41:54 am »

Hi folks,
I'm using MC 20.0.10, but I determined this bug also in version 19.x.

By default there are the user fields Mood and Tempo. I have changed both settings of those fields to be data type list and edit type list.
Sporadically MC resets those settings back to default, that means data type string and edit type default.
Also I can reproduce the bug, when I select all audio files, right click library tools and go to update library (from tags).

Strange to say, but when I create a totally new user field and change it to data type list, MC does keep those settings anyway.

I think this is a bug, cause when I can change any setting MC should keep them. Or is there any other approach to change user library fields?

Cheers

We're going to switch those fields back to a string style whenever a file with MusicMatch fields is imported.  Use a different field name to avoid conflicts.

Any chance to change this behaviour?
