tssst, then silence
« on: September 22, 2014, 02:29:26 pm »

I have upgraded to MC20 this weekend and have a problem that I havent found a solutions for.

When playing audio (flac&wav files), changing track to another track in some other format I get a short tssst and then silence. MC 20 is still working and I can see it playing but no sound can be heard.  To get any sound back I need to power off the DAC and close MC20, restart both to get any sound at all.

I use MC for Audio only, I play no other types of media files through MC.

I have performed all set up guides that I can find but obviously I missed some configuration that I'm not aware of. Please give me some suggestions.

MC20, wasapi, exclusive access, usb to a Grace Design 920 DAC.
Dell pc, Windows7, 64 bit, 8 Gb/2Tb

cheers

Try setting re-sampling everything to 176.4 khz in DSP Studio.  Do the transitions work then?

So switch all the rates to 96000 Hz.  I'm just testing if resampling is involved.
