Hi.
Playing dsd256 in native asio (bitstreaming dsd), or any input format with upsampling at 4xdsd (no bitstreaming), using a Youlong da8, I hear a crackle on the right channel only.
If I play dsd128, or any other format with 2xdsd upsampling, no problems at all.
Any suggestion? Of course, hardware buffer enabled, buffer at 500ms.

Well if upsampling works, doesn't that mean we decode the file fine?  So if you hear a crackle, it has to be from your DAC.

Buffer setting vary from DAC to DAC.  Some need very small buffers, so very large ones.  You may have to do some experimenting.

No chance, lower than 500ms results in slow/noisy sound. But I'm quite sure that buffer size can't influence one channel and not the other.

Obviously Yulong said "not a dac problem, it must function with dsd128...so...". I was expecting another answer, like "ok give me the configuration,pc,player, track, and we test it". No, no tests at all. If it functions with dsd128, it must function.
Like you buy a Ferrari, instruction manual says it goes to 300km/h, but you can't go over 200 at full throttle... Ferrari says "not my problem, i do not test it, I'm sure it goes at 300"; check your feet, shoe, not the car.
