Recently Imported??
« on: January 27, 2002, 09:20:27 am »

Could someone please explain me the logic behind "recently imported"?
So far it shows ALL the songs I've imported since moving to version 8.
I tried to think maybe it's limited with some sort of number or date but I don't think so. Maybe it was possible to set these preferences (Max. number of songs in Recently Imported and/or Songs from the last X days).

Maybe we could have a check box on the import media dialog
saying something like (Clear recently imported playlist before importing) ?
This checkbox would be unchecked by default (MJ8 behaviour).
What do you think ?

Recently Imported is extremely valuable, because I like to manually check the properties of the songs I've just imported.  Sometimes I import them in 2 or 3 batches, so, no, I don't want the Recently Imported list cleared automatically.  It's trivial to clear it myself.

No, not automatically cleared but on request, as an option to mimic MJ7.0 behaviour.
