is there a way to specify "integer" in expression?
« on: February 26, 2015, 03:54:16 pm »

the neverending quest to complete tagging LOL.  i'd like to make a smartlist to find certain files that have the track # in the filename in the wrong place

for example 1-01 track name.flac

but i'd like to have 1 - track name.flac

is there a way to specify MC to look for an integer (but not a specific integer, just a number) in the file name?  of course the easiest way would be to make rules filename (name) starts with, does not start with, contains "an integer"... i know about &datatype=[integer] but can't figure out how to use that string in an expression that looks for an integer...

thx

You can use regular expressions in smart lists or searches. You should find some instructions on the Wiki.
