Video settings for native unprocessed signal.
« on: January 06, 2015, 08:22:39 pm »

Hello

Loving MC 20 for a media player.
Running latest build 20.0.52 (1/6/2015)
My video chain is: MC Win PC/Integra SSP/Lumagen/Projector.
All calibration done in the Lumagen- 125 pt. 3D Lut and scaling.
Would like to have an unprocessed signal at native resolution & frame rate.
Have searched around but have not found information.
Any recommendations or tips greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

A 100% unprocessed output is impossible with a PC. At the very least you need to perform chroma upsampling and conversion to RGB. To achieve the best result in these conversions you can use Red October HQ.
Read here for more details (also check the links at the bottom of that page for more details): http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/MadVR

If interested, JRiver's Red October HQ mode supports 3D Lut files in the madvr renderer. See this thread for more info.
