I'm thinking of purchasing MC 20, I'm pretty satisfied with 19 but the WDM driver seems like a great idea. I currently use VBCable + Loopback in my dedicated HT room to play games and take advantage of my bi amping / room correction. However, even on the 2ms delay in device settings theres still too much of a delay, a gun fired is perceivably off. Its not a big issue, but now I've been using this rig to do some mixing in protools and I can't have a delay like that since things are being synced to video. Does the new WDM driver have this delay or any at all?

The WDM has some delay, but the minimum amount will depend on what your hardware will tolerate.  If you're using the WDM driver the main sources of latency are the audio output device buffer and JRiver's input buffer.  You can set the input buffer (for loopback too) under Audio-->Options-->Advanced-->live playback latency.  That setting plus the output buffer for your audio device (either in the ASIO control panel if you use ASIO, or JRiver's audio device buffer setting) will be close to your minimum total latency when using the WDM driver.   So you want to set those two settings as low as possible without causing buffer underruns (pops/drop outs). How low you'll be able to set them is hardware dependent.  

I can get about 15-20ms total output latency on my best hardware with no dropouts ever, I can push it lower if I'm willing to put up with the occasional pop.  I can't get it that low on all my hardware.  25ms is the film standard for lipsync and thankfully I can get most of my devices at least close to  25ms.  What you're describing (gunshots obviously wrong) is probably much more than 25ms, I notice gun shots being "off" around 45 or 50 myself (but everyone is different).

If you haven't already tried tinkering with the input buffer setting (it's a little hidden) you may be able to improve the performance of your existing loopback based setup too.
