Feature request:

Non liniear stretch. The ability to stretch 16:9 content onto a CinemaScope screen. The option to define how much to crop off top/bottom which reduces the amount needed to stretch out to the sides. Non liniear in that it stretches less in the center and more towards the sides.

I have my projector zoomed to fit a scope screen using 1920x800 pixels. A 16:9 image will be using the entire panel at 1920x1080. That needs to be shrunk down/zoom to 1440x800 to fit the height then expanded out to 1920 across using a non liniear scaling. As mentioned a bit of crop top bottom will reduce the geometric distortion. Lumagen scalers have this feature.

If these parameters could be custimized one could set up a preferred NLS.

Maybe it is already possible?
