On the lowest level of my View "tree" JRiver shows the Album cover sorted by Artist (or Album Artist).
I have the following situation- I have a Album-Box Set of 12 discs. Within that set there are 8 unique artists.
I have set-up the view with the hierarchy as -> Top Level = Genre; 2nd Level = Album. This view presents me with 8 album cover icons because (it seems) there are 8 artists used over the 12 discs. I would ideally like to see just one album icon (representing the box set). In that way, when i select that Album to play I will get a list of about 100 songs segregated by the 12 disc numbers. I could 'fake' it out by changing the Album Artist (and Artist) to "Various" and move the actual artist names to a new field like for example "Other" so I don't lose the metadata, but that seems like a sort hokey way to do it. Is there a way to tell the View to ignore the Album Artist at that lowest level.
