Problem with HID protocol Play/Pause command
« on: December 22, 2014, 10:53:11 am »

I'm testing a M2Tech Young DSD DAC;
the DAC remote has 3 buttons for sending 3 commands to the player: previous track, next track and Play/Pause.
Previous and next work as expected, but Play/Pause don't; the result is similar to pressing Previous, i.e.: the track start from the beginning.

How is your DAC connected to MC? E.g via USB, HDMi or via UPnP / DLNA?

Ok. They recently made some changes in Play/Pause, that might possibly have caused you issue.

BTW, pressing Play/Pause the result is not exactly the same of Previous Track:
with Previous Track the track restart crossfaded, with Play/Pause I get a short silence before the track restarts.
It's like JRiver executes 2 commands: Stop & Play.
(Stop, not Pause, as the track restart from the beginning.)
