Audioquest Dragonfly levels
« on: February 07, 2015, 03:35:05 pm »

I have the original Dragonfly version and it's worked fine off my laptop (hasn't seen much use), until last night.
The sound levels are way down. I used it a couple of nights before and all was well.
At full volume it is softer than my usual listening levels- around 25%.
I have tried every configuration and every playback system I can think of.
I can get loud volume without the Dragonfly, though it sounds poo.
So, it is definitely functioning as a DAC.

I spose I could contact Audioquest but hope someone has a solution.
Dell Vostro, downgraded to Win7, i5, SSD.

Ta very much.
