I've been ripping my 400+ based disc collection to JRiver, but have decided only to rip about half my disks.  Thing is, I'd still like to see my whole library from the interface.

What I'm looking for is a way to add a film to the library, but not actually have the film on the hard drive.  It would be great if there was some sort of "Disk Only" prompt in the view, especially in theater mode.  Then, when I hit play JRiver could ask something like "Please insert disc for playback."

Perhaps there is a way to do this already?

Maybe JRiver could add a feature called "Add virtual title" which would allow one to scrape film data without the need for the actual film to be on the hard drive.
