I entered some link text html  in the manage links section and every thing seemed great.  They go where I want them to.

However, the new links are not saved...  next reboot... the links are gone.    Curiously a custom link that I created long ago for pdf booklet files persists with the default ones.

What do I select to save my new links

Turns out I was trying to manage links using a client...  when I make the new links on the server... the library sends the links to the client JRiver program.  Problem solved.    (I guess I thought these kinds of things would be like the hardware settings)
