MC20 crashes while trying to type in my serial number.
« on: March 17, 2015, 11:28:32 am »

Hello. Bought MediaCenter 20 two days ago with a Master License. Program works really great on my Windows 8.1 Pro laptop and it registered succesfully as well.
On my other laptop I'm running Linux Mint 17.1 with the Cinnamon desktop. Installation went fine by information I found here on the forum.

However when I try to register the program with my serial number. It crashes after typing in the serial. Doesn't show as being registered after a restart. But it did use up 2 restores already.
And when I try the command line installation of the restore license I get the message "Could not restore license from file Master-290532.mjr"

Am I doing something wrong here?

If you read step 4 of my tutorial here, it sounds like you should try installing the license from the Terminal.

Thanks, option 4 worked. I have it licensed now :)
