Edit Title Bar?

How did you manage to edit MC's title bar, is that done by a particular skin?

right click the title bar and u can make it say what ever you want.....

Sorry I don't get it... When I right click the title bar - in effect the toolbar in "standard mode" -- I only get the option "Customize toolbar". This dialogue has no way to edit the window title... How then?

ur not clicking on the title bar ur clicking on the tool bar. right click on the JR Media Center...customize display...just be sure to copy and past in notepad or something whats already there...then experiment and come up with what u want. for example i have 'show alternate display text' checked and now when a track is playing it tells me the year, track #, track name, the artist, the cd it's off,- the second line tells me genre, time counting down, total time of track, (the 4 of 1625 is track line up at beginning of play from this particular playlist) how many plays, and date of last play....

Thanks, but you missed my point. I was referring to the title of MC's main window in the taskbar where it says "JRiver Media Center" (Obviously, the window being skinned, the name appears nowhere else...)

this is what i thought you wanted...i guess i should just keep my mouth shut hey....

sure...with mine i have it set to also tell me what version i have...u can change that to say any thing u want...say like andrewberg's music....just saying....

That's the output of the PlayingNow Plugin by RhinoBanga.  Unfortunately, he dropped off the face of Interact, so I think it isn't available for new users anymore.

You were right in a way; for instead of the typical "Windows" frame & title, due to skinning MC has the 'Player Bar'... which I knew was editable. What I didn't know was there's a new item called "Stop Mode" to configure the content when no file is playing...
I just tried and entered the line "Media Center [App Version]" there... which works for the bar only, the title in the Windows taskbar remains the same "JRiver etc"...
