Either something tampering with the registry or something changing the machine name are the only things that should cause a license to be lost.

Yes I know, so as a test I double clicked on the 'mjr' provided and the key was accepted, rebooted the system checked the computer name and it was still the same however MC20 asked me purchase a key.

The mjr file is the Install Key.  It only works for 14 days from the time you restore.

Yes I have used that link, unfortunately you have a limited number of restores.
And this does not resolve the problem.
Working on finding the app that is causing the problem
