In my particular library, i have almost 4,000 songs, and many of the artists have more than 20 songs. several of them have well over 50, so i was wondering if it was possible to hide the songs under the artist name and when you want to access them, click on a + sign next to the artist so the songs appear under the artist name.

This is how the media library works in MusicMatch, which first drew me to it, and i have to say i miss that feature.

Just a thought for future consideration.

You can create an Artist / Name scheme and use the panes or tree to browse how you're describing.

Play with the Edit > Add View Scheme menu.  Click pane headers to customize.
