aloha its me again just wondering if there is a faster way to import media files? i really love myself for buying this program thanx for making it!

faster then what its doing, i have been trying to import avi files but its taking forever, benn almost 30 minutes and there are only maybe 20 files, unless its posed to take that long then pls forgive me for the misunderstanding. big mahalo for any feedback!

Might just be your system... I just tried importing 39 video files.... mostly .avi .... and it took....ummm... about 6 seconds.

Stop the import and try again? Sorry I don't have any better advice.

When is the last time you defragged your drives? Assuming you have NT/W2k/XP then....dbl click on My Computer...right click on your drive...select Properties...click on the Tools tab...select Defragment Now. It may take a few passes if the drive is heavily defragmented.

If it doesn't help the slow import it will sure help the computer in general.

aloha again, first id like to thank those who responded to my question, next id like to say sorry, turns out the files were corrupt, there was a fatal exception in the kernal log so i deleted the files so sorry for the trouble, hope everyone has a great day!
