File Remembered After Deletion
« on: September 26, 2015, 11:19:50 am »

Hello, many thanks for taking a look at my little problem.

I use single file flac's with embedded cue sheets and I recently imported a flac that I had embedded the wrong cue sheet in and as such the wrong track names and lengths were showing. I deleted the entries from within JRiver and embedded the correct cue sheet in the flac file (confirmed in foobar where the tracks are correct and I have manually checked as well). However when I try to import the file into JRiver it remembers the original cue and reverts to that. I presume there is some cache somewhere of files it has sen before that it reverts to. Is there anyway I can get JRiver to forget the previous cue and use the current one please?

Many thanks for your help.

Hmm.  I think you need to tell it to re-read the tags from the file.  Click on the file, then:

<Right click> Library Tools > Update Library (from tags)

Not sure if that will work, but it's worth a shot.

Brian.
