Headless Server only Linux variant ?
« on: November 15, 2015, 01:58:17 am »

Being now on JRiver for multiple years (Audio Only) I would really like to see a small Linux headless server only component for JRiver and I would be willing to pay for it extra.

Could be remote controlled by jremote and might run on raspberry, qnap, synology and others.

You can run MC headless as it is, it just needs a bit of setup to install a dummy X server, either a true dummy like we use for the Id in headless mode, or a virtual variant you can admin remotely (like VNC Server)

There are even step by step instructions on doing this on a raspberry Pi over in this thread ; https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=99370.msg687832#msg687832.
