Problems getting music files to play
« on: April 15, 2020, 10:43:43 pm »

I just upgraded from the MC21 to the MC26.  I was having problems playing the music in my library, all my audio files appeared as available, when I selected a track to play it would load in the player window but then never start playing.  It had been some time since I accessed JRiver so I thought maybe I just needed to go through the upgrade process and the issues would resolve themselves.  With the upgraded license I'm still having the same issues.  The primary files I see in the properties are .APE files and .M4A files.  Can anyone help with any advice??  Thank you!!

Check antivirus settings ... changing to major new version required taming antivirus for that major version (whatever you did to tame antivirus for MC21 ... repeat it for MC26)

Thanks, issue is resolved.  I had to select MC26 as an approved app.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!!
