Speed has been on my mind a lot the last several weeks.I have tried several of the other "Audiophile" music players which include a database to store and manage their own libraries and the biggest takeaway was how much time I was waiting on the software to complete its database functions such as sorting, searching and syncing new entries. With JRiver all these tasks are completed at a rate magnitudes quicker. I have a large library and with every other music app waiting on these mundane actions has become truly a deal breaker. With MC it seems I can't even grab a gulp of coffee iin the time it takes those actions to complete. This is just a long winded way of saying thanks and kudos to the JRiver team for doing something so well and elegantly, that until you try the competition you wouldn't even take notice of these issues at all.
