Requesting Output Encoding: 8XDSD in native format
« on: October 23, 2014, 12:28:53 pm »

I recently purchased JRiver MediaCenter 20 and think it sounds great!   I have a iFi iDSD Micro DAC that natively supports DSD512 (DSDX8) and would love to see 8XDSD in native format as an Output Encoding option (current max is 4XDSD).   Thank you.

Yea, I am trying to test on this iFi iDSD and no idea.

I installed ASIO4All and it seems mapped to the Realtek Digital output, but no go. Trying to glean more from iFi but documentation is lacking in this regard.

My Vega DAC is back with firmware for DSD256, but they never developed the appropriate driver, go figure.
