Hi

Is anyone using the Hades Canyon as a HTPC? Specifically 4k playback?

Keen to hear if it's strong enough with ROHQ/madVR tasking it.

Reading mixed reviews.

Hi Z

I am using Coffee Lake but have been unable to get reliable judder free streaming through my NAS and HTPC with JRiver and am looking to add a Nvidia 1070TI graphics card.

Even though Coffee Lake should be more than capable, 2160p HDR material does not play smooth, I have tried many other software players but all exhibit similar performance when employing MADVR.

I also want to upscale 1080P to 4K with other processing employed so another reason to upgrade to the dedicated card.
