Nontraditional DLNA severs not working with JRiver 22
« on: October 18, 2016, 12:44:25 am »

So, I use BubbleUPnP to let me access Google Music as a DLNA server. Works great. The issue is that it doesn't necessarily serve files, it serves different listings for each service it provides, which then filters down into Artist/Album, etc. Standard DLNA servers work great with JRiver 22 (Windows, to be specific), but ones like BubbleUPnP, and the Subsonic DLNA server (Which I use a BubbleUPnP tethering application to make remote DLNA servers show up over the network) which serves files up basically in folder structure, not by tags at all. Is there any way to do any kind of alternate view of a DLNA server in JRiver that would allow me to browse these servers and play them back in JRiver?

(Admittedly, these all work fine in Foobar, and then ASIO to JRiver for its DSP works, but I would love to eliminate as many middlemen as possible)
