Any chance you can tell us what the error message was?

Where's the link where you download them from?

Which skins did you download?

This will happen if you use MC 9.1 and download MegaMe Skins for MJ 8 or MC 9.0.
MC 9.1 requires new skins because the SDK has changed (MJMS version="2.0").
Here is a list of threads for so far obtainable additional skins for MC 9.1:
  • Brushed Metal (by JC) - This one will give you the cupertino touch...
  • Golden (by ToMy00) - Shiny gold background with silver buttons
  • Windows Media (by ToMy00) - Looks like the Windows Media Player
  • WinDozeClassic (by knickelfarz) - For people who don't like skins (warm grey + blue variation)
  • WinDozeClassic NL-1 (by nameless) - For people who don't like skins (cold grey + blue variation)
  • WinDozeMaple (by knickelfarz) - For people who don't like skins (brown/orange variation)
All those skins are not "released" yet... Maybe there will still be little changes made in the SDK untill the release of MC 9.1...
