I would like to know how you 'tag' your mp3cds with the new fonction.
Or ,if you have any tip.
I would like NOT to have the file name , like F:/Nila/Hip-Hop/ artist ect ect.
Any way to do so?

My mp3cds are ,first of all for back -up and some to play in discman without artist, song name  indication.
It just show album number and track number.
Yes , not a  new one ,but  it do play VRB Mp3

Not quite sure what you mean.

With the new function - when I back up all my mp3's which I'm going to do when I get a chance onto CD as mp3 cd's I'm probably going to burn them like this:


Split them into genre's ( I bought three cases specifically)

1. Hip-Hop, RnB, Rap
2. Rock, Grunge, Alternative
3. Pop, Chart, Other,


For each CD I'm going to save the playlist with the CD ID number (i'll give each CD a number) and all the songs per CD.
They'll be saved like this:

Burnt CD's
- Case 1
. - 1
. - 2
. - 3
- Case 2
. - 1
. - 2
. - 3
- Case 3
. - 1
. - ......


and so on for all of them.
For the naming convention I'm going to use: Arist - Album - Year probably for the folders with: Track # - Songname for the songs themselves.



Not sure if somewhere in that is your answer because I'm not sure exactly what you were after

I was just curious to know.
Kind of learning beside the Artist -Album- track #- track name very traditional scheme .

The problem i still have - but with me you know that problem= incompetence most of the time--...
I still get the file name :
like  F:/Emusic/.......
This i would like  NOT to have.

PS: concerning CDRW
I got a metal box of 40  cd-r for around ,let say 3 pounds
I would NEVER use them for back up...
But ,li ike so much to throw them trought the room when i do not like the result......

I saw that at Office Depot they have Verbat... something cd-r.I do not remember the name ,but it sounds like a brand of breakfast cereales.......
I will use this brand to make my cds

Yeah - on my hard drive I use this naming format:


Folder: Artist - Album
Files: Artist - Album - Track # - Name


I'm thinking of changing it to:
Folder: Artist - Album - Year
Files: Artist - Album - Track # - Name

but that's not too big a deal.

For the CD's I just drop the initial info as it's already contained in the folder name and so there is no need to repeat it for each file.


Basically - any info that is repeated for each file the same, you just put as the folder name - then use only info that changes from track to track for the file names.



When you say you get a filename like:  F:/emusic/blah...
I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Do you mean when you are trying to read the CD's after you burn them?

Because I dont understand where the drive letter is appearing from - it wont be on the CD's themselves as no files are burnt with Drive letters.

Where and when are you getting that :  F:/emusic/blah?

And your customising the 'Options/CD Folder settings' when burning right?

Beside it ,i'am sure i saw the drive letter.

I gave all my 'testing' cds to a friend , so i cannot check.

No ,i can be stupid enought to had play the cd and saw the MP3 files in my library........ , and this more than one time.......
