Adding Columns to Views; different on Mac versus Windows
« on: July 28, 2016, 11:28:45 am »

I've noticed for a while, that in many places in MC where you select fields, you can type part of the field name and MC will "zoom to" that field based on what you type.  So if you are in the Panes dialog to add a new field to a pane, you type "sa" and it takes you to the [Sample Rate] field, which you can then add.

However, when selecting new columns to add to a view by right clicking on the column headers, this "type to zoom" behavior doesn't work.  When you type, it just ignores the keyboard input.  I just checked the Windows version and it works there, which is awesome!

I wonder if this is something that could be easily corrected in MC for Mac so it works the same as the Windows version?
