Hi,

I would like the Theater View toggle to go to Playing Now, as in really playing now. Currently when I click theater view it goes to Theater View but I have to click Playing Now again to have it show what's playing. I have Playing Now as the entry point in Theater View, I would love to go directly to Playing Now in Theater View. Is this possible, or am I not configuring Theater View properly?

how are you toggling to theater view. when you use the view menu, i dont think you can change that, but when you use the CTRL4 then you can overwrite that, or you could set an other keyboard combination.
if the last thing is true, check out http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/User_Defined_Global_Keyboard_Shortcuts
and use the command you find in http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Media_Center_Core_Commands
to get to playing now in theater view.

if this gets over your head, just ask, and tell where you got stuck..

well it is not really a workaround. its a way you can let mc behave the way you want too, by design. there are many ways to customize things in mc. i tested it before i typed you, and it took me less then 5 minutes, but ofcource i knew what i had to do.

i assume you use your keyboard to toggle.
go to C:\Program Files (x86)\J River\Media Center 22\Data
make a new directory there called: Custom Resources
and put the file i placed in the zip file in the attachment in the new directory (so get it out of the zip), it has only 6 sentences.
restart mc
and try ctrl4 and see what happens.

Hi,

Works as advertised. Is there any way to make that into a clickable command? I seldom have the keyboard at hand; I've been using 'Toggle Theater View' in the commands pasted to the Toolbar, that's where I would like the functionality.
