Where did my playlists go in MC22?
« on: September 13, 2016, 08:27:12 am »

Hi.
I just installed v. 22 from v 21, and there was some fuzz already from the start, when MC said it couldn't find my files. So I installed from a previous backup (yesterday), and yes, my music was imported, but I miss my playlists. I also had som personalized setting under Audio/Genre which have disappeared. I would guess my playlists are still in here somewhere, but haven't got a clue as to how to reconnect to them.
Please?

There should be a folder in playlist that says something to the effect of imported or something. I just can't remember but they should be there if you installed a back up from MC21....look through the playlists...

Did you have both options checked when restoring the library backup?:

Media files
AND
Settings

No, I didn't, but now I did, and that did the trick!! :) I guess I just supposed the default checking was enough.
Thank you so much. I'm a happier man now.

(One final question; where do I find the JRiver folder on Windows 10? Two searches have been unsucessful so far.)
