Tag problem
« on: January 16, 2017, 11:32:29 am »

This might be an old problem, but it looks like letters with consecutive accents are not decoded properly - example  Gustavo Núñez. (attached screenshot)

Can this be easily fixed?

I'm not able to reproduce this.

I put the artist name "Gustavo Núñez" in a file and it shows just fine.

Thoughts?

Matt,

Agree that is puzzling - the error showed up on multiple PC's.  Could be in the file I downloaded?  Let's wait a bit and see if anyone else can reproduce this.  Meanwhile I'll do some checking on my end.

Got a tag reading program and it looks like the problem is in the downloaded file.  It was easy to correct using  "rename" in JRiver and it displays just fine now.  Sorry for the false alarm -
