An option for close button to minimize instead of closing?
« on: February 27, 2017, 01:36:06 am »

Is there an option such that close button will minimize MC22 instead of closing it?

The reason why I ask is that I like to always have MC22 running for TV recordings - but sometimes, family members close it to use other applications by mistake. And then MC22 misses TV recordings.

Thanks,
Osho

There is not. However, there is, at: "Tools > Options > General > Interface" an option to "minimise to system tray"...

Might that help?

Also consider... TV recordings will still happen if media server is running. Look at "Tools > Options > Startup"

If they close MC, the server part remains open, and so your recordings still happen.

Actually, just set MC to run the Server on startup.  Then when you close, the server will still run in the tray, and you will not miss TV recordings.  This is how I run my TV setup.  Works great.  You don't even have to open MC if you restart, since the server starts with Windows.
