To kill the time, who can figure out what numbers come next and why:

Because that's what came out when I typed randomly.

I hate this type of puzzle. Mainly because I suck at them. Every time I think I have it, I find a reason why it can't be the correct answer.

Methinks Matt may have made up numbers randomly. Maybe those numbers represent a growth chart of sorts.

Content sensitive toolbar sounds great though

Wahoo - should be fun to play with..

for images we have: rotate, flip, resize, convert?

for audio can we have all the 'library tools'

and for video how big a surprise can you produce? maybe: reduce file to 1meg yet keep quality?

This is gonna make it a lot nicer to use - one of the most important things here though is gonna be nice clear well thought out icons (I still think the rotate images icon is backwards - clockwise should be anti-clockwise and visa versa to meet the norm).

Cant wait to play with this

And as for the numbers, I'm pretty sure it's not a mathematical sequence so I'm guessing it's something you have to recognise and that the numbers have some significance.

I dont recognise them though

I need a clue. Is the sequence generated from a formula? If there is a root number...is it based on the derivative of the quadrophonic root of PI?

Most of the #'s are not prime and I see no pattern developing when I look at the difference between two neighbors. I want to say that it's all #'s beginning with a 2 but the 3 thru 13 throws that out.

Great...my plane leaves for North Carolina here in about 8 hours and I haven't packed or done laundry yet...and now I'm obsessed with this brain teaser.

Or, Matt will admit it was all a big goof, and the numbers have no logical sequence at all.

Storms? Hmmm. My sister (in Raleigh) lost her power for 2 to 3 weeks either last year or earlier this year. We'll be out on the inner coast (not Outer Banks) for about a week. Can't wait to get out in the Atlantic again.

some did not have power for over a month (like 5-6 weeks)

It may not have been "the" right answer, but it is "a" right answer. One meaning of "catch" is to "see or watch". And if you see the croc in your binocs, you've indeed "caught" it!

I may be working at a disadvantage: I am assuming that "zoom glasses" are "binoculars", and that by "bock", you mean "book", rather than a type of beer, which "bock" is. Am I wrong?

There is a prisoner being guarded by two men, one dressed in white and the other dressed in black. One of the guards is a pathological liar and the other a pathological truth-teller (pathological means they always lie or tell the truth). The prisoner is in a room with two doors which will decide his fate; one door leads to freedom and the other leads to his execution. Both the guards know which door is which. The prisoner is allowed but one question - and he can ask it to only one guard.

To ensure his freedom, what should the prisoner ask and to whom?

"Which door will he say leads to freedom?"

The answer from either man will be the door to my execution, exit through the other door and enjoy life
